JAMA brought home three crystals at last week’s SEAOSC (Structural Engineers Association of Southern California) Structural Engineering Excellence Awards!

The recognized projects are diverse, ranging from a new classroom building with cutting-edge teaching lab facilities, to the modernization of a 1980’s commercial office complex (the first Los Angeles City approved pre-Northridge moment frame upgrade using ASCE-41), to the relocation and restoration of a 320-year-old home and agricultural compound from Japan.

We’re incredibly proud of these projects and the creativity and teamwork required to design and build them. Congratulations to the evening’s winners and thank you to SEAOSC, those who voted, and those who sponsored!

-California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo William and Linda Frost Center for Research and Innovation (Award of Merit for New Construction)
