Sheila Bethancourt

Controller

Sheila Bethancourt may be behind the scenes for many of the day-to-day transactions people engage in with JAMA, but her attention to detail, engaging demeanor, and her institutional knowledge of all things “Martin Engineering” make her one of the central components of the firm’s success. As Controller, Sheila monitors the firm’s financials and oversees the preparation of reports, budgets, invoicing, and payroll. She works with the management team in preparing financial reports and forecasts, and assists with important financial decisions as well as determining ways to reduce costs.

Outside of the office, Sheila enjoys reading, cooking (mostly trying new recipes), sewing, and most recently, crocheting. She enjoys spending time with her family and making many happy memories together.
