Kim Carden, SE
Associate Principal
Associate Principal Kim Carden brings a passion for community and exacting engineering standards to her projects and the culture at JAMA. Kim is a double graduate of USC, earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in engineering, including having valedictorian honors. She is also highly active in her local SoCal community, serving as Committee Chair and district commissioner for Scouting America elementary youth, and enjoying outdoor adventures. She melds these two worlds through a strong commitment to mentorship, guiding the next generation of engineers while also excelling in project management.
At JAMA, Kim plays a vital role in shaping the future through intern and employee hiring and serving on the SEAOSC mentorship committee. Her project portfolio includes work on LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal West and United Terminal retrofit, DSA-approved high school stadiums in Temple City and Los Angeles, the LA County Natural History Museum, and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Current work includes projects at the Ontario Convention Center, community centers and higher education renovations.
