JAMA is excited to be part of SE 2050, a nationwide program that guides structural engineers to reduce embodied carbon and achieve net-zero carbon in building structures by 2050.
We are committed to supporting sustainable practices and research in the industry. Our in-office Green Initiative Team works hard to reduce the negative impacts of construction on the environment. From using mass timber to smartly reducing material use, we always look for better ways to build.
But design is only part of our effort. We also promote “no-waste” policies in our office and continue learning through conferences, webinars, and workshops. We’re proud to stand with other firms in SE 2050, working together to design with purpose and care for the Earth.
