Exciting things are happening at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County! JAMA is proud to have played a key role in the structural engineering of NHM Commons, the Museum’s new 75,000-square-foot wing and community hub in Exposition Park. As part of the project celebration, our very own Diane Duvand, SE, helped lead an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of The Commons hosted by the Association for Women in Architecture Foundation (AWAF). Alongside partners from Frederick Fisher and Partners, Studio-MLA, and others, Diane shared insights into the structural strategies and collaborative effort that brought this exciting new space to life. The tour was a proud moment for JAMA, highlighting our structural work and the talented team behind it.
