Team JAMA is on site for the Los Angeles Unified School District Dixie Canyon Charter Elementary School project! This exciting educational facility consists of two buildings designed to serve the growing community.

The project features two buildings, a two story classroom building supporting 14 classrooms and a separate one-story kindergarten building with two classrooms and dedicated bathrooms. During this site visit, our team conducted inspections of the mat slab foundations for the kindergarten building.

The 2,850 square foot kindergarten building utilizes special steel moment frames for its lateral force-resisting system, ensuring the structure meets rigorous seismic safety standards. We’re proud to contribute to creating safe, modern learning environments for LA’s students.
