Concrete, glass, steel and… gingerbread! Team JAMA brought engineering expertise to SEAOSC’s (Structural Engineers Association of Southern California) SoCal Gingerbread Competition this past weekend.
This creative annual holiday tradition encourages engineering professionals to reimagine iconic structures in miniature as gingerbread creations. Our team had a blast recreating the iconic Griffith Observatory, complete with its distinctive dome and classical architecture – all crafted in delicious detail!
The competition showed incredible creativity from teams across Southern California, with engineers transforming famous landmarks into edible masterpieces. It’s a wonderful way to combine our technical skills with holiday spirit and community building.
Congratulations to all the competition winners and SEAOSC on hosting another successful event!
