As a long-time supporter of the ACE (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) Mentor Program of America, JAMA has been nominated as this year’s ACE Mentor Engineering Firm of the Year. ACE mentors high school students across the US; inspiring them to pursue careers in design and construction. It’s now the construction industry’s fastest-growing high school mentoring program, reaching over 8,000 students annually. JAMA has long worked with students of John Marshall High School in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, and are currently in our first year working with the Applied Technology Center in Montebello. Final news on which firm wins the Engineering Firm of the Year will take place at the ACE Spotlight Awards Event on February 27, 2014.
