JAMA Partner Steven C. Ball and his team have been hard at work collaborating with structural engineers at Knippers Helbig and Allied Works Architecture on the National Veterans Memorial & Museum. The firms have been collaborating on the ground-up project, which features a concrete arched structure with glass curtainwall. Located in Columbus, Ohio, the facility is a world-class, state-of-the-art museum and memorial representing contributions and sacrifices made by military veterans and their families. It’s the first of its kind to span all branches of service and all eras of conflict. The campus is expected to open in Summer 2018, so stayed tuned for more information on the opening!
