Project Engineer
(JAMA Title: Engineer 1)

Minimum Requirements:
  • Licensed PE in California.
  • 2+ years of experience in structural analysis and design working under senior PE or SE.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, communication skills, and able to work well with others.
  • Able to multi-task assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with small to mid-sized buildings including new construction, renovations, and seismic upgrades a plus.
  • Detailing experience with various structural systems including gravity and lateral framing.
  • Proficient with industry software such as ETABS, SAFE, RAM, and RISA. Others a plus.
  • Proficient with IBC, CBC, ASCE 7, ACI-318, and AISC-341. Knowledge of ASCE-41 a plus.
  • Special consideration given to those who have more than 2 years of experience with either DSA and/or OSHPD including proven experience handling plan check and construction phases.

Structural BIM/CAD Project Coordinator
(JAMA Title: Drafter D2)

Minimum requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; AA, BS or BA a plus.
  • 3+ years of BIM experience (specifically Revit); 7 years of AutoCAD experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in AutoCAD and Revit; Drafting, AutoCAD and Revit courses completed considered a plus.

Other requirements:
  • Good understanding of the latest versions of AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of other software such as Navisworks, Bentley Systems and 3d Studio Max is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of technical drafting, including standard notation, symbols, typical details, projection methods of making sections, as well as industry standards.
  • Must be able to read Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Drawings.
  • Able to prepare and cut sections/details independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiar with emailing and file transfer (uploading files EFT or FTP sites).
