Shane has lifelong ties to California and the specialized expertise required for the design of structures in high seismic areas. Originally from Santa Rosa, Shane has over 25 years of experience in Central and Southern California in structural engineering analysis, design and project management. His experience encompasses projects of all types and complexities including hospitals, educational facilities, recreational facilities, retail and commercial facilities, hotels, parking structures, and multi-story office buildings. Shane is widely known to DSA and OSHPD personnel having designed over three-hundred educational and healthcare facilities statewide, and an acknowledged expert in structural engineering and the applicable codes, including the CAC, CEBC, CBC, and ASCE 41for the Seismic Evaluation and Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings. Shane has performed numerous plan checks and peer reviews of both private and public projects in the US and oversees. His technical abilities coupled with his personal and professional project management skills ensure close collaboration with team members and projects stakeholders and a commitment to on-time & on-budget project delivery.
