Shane Fitzgerald has deep ties to California and the specialized expertise required for the design of structures in high seismic areas. Originally from Santa Rosa, Shane has 20 years of experience in Central and Southern California in structural engineering design and project management. His experience encompasses projects of all types and complexities including hospitals, educational facilities, recreational facilities, retail and commercial facilities, hotels, parking structures, residential, and multi-story office buildings. Shane is widely known to DSA and OSHPD personnel having designed over two-hundred educational and healthcare facilities statewide. He is also an acknowledged expert in structural engineering and the applicable codes, including the California Building Code, California Code of Regulations Parts 1 and 2, Title 24, and ASCE 41-06 Seismic Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings. Shane has performed many peer reviews of both private and public projects in the US and oversees. His technical abilities coupled with his personal and professional project management skills ensure close collaboration with team members and projects stakeholders, and a commitment to on-time, on-budget project delivery.
